SEMZ recently commissioned local Melbourne artist Mitch Walder to design and illustrate a mural for our boardroom wall. Featuring a montage of past and current SEMZ projects hand drawn by Mitch, the striking image includes Bendigo Kangan Institute Centre of Excellence, The Garden State Hotel, LegoLand, The Rialto, 356 Collins St, Wesley Place, The Esplanade Hotel, Botanicca Business Park and Turner Residences. The mural will continue to evolve over coming years to reflect our project portfolio.
Home grown in Melbourne, Mitch Walder works out of The Arts Hole studio in Caulfield. After graduating from a Bachelor of Design Arts degree 2011 at the Australian Academy of Design he hit the ground running, forging a career in illustration, painting, graphic design, gallery installation and artist workshops.
