SEMZ have recently been appointed as Project Manager for the re-development of North Blackburn Shopping Centre.
Australian Unity have announced details today of this long awaited and very exciting project: ‘Patrons of North Blackburn Shopping Centre are set to benefit from a $40+million expansion of the 51-year old neighbourhood shopping centre, which will see major upgrades to community services offered including an expanded medical centre, child-care, a food and beverage entertainment precinct and a new national supermarket. The works undertaken by Australian Unity Wealth will create more jobs and provide a modern and enhanced shopping experience to cater to the needs of the growing community. It’s another example of our Retail Property Fund delivering for investors by improving the offering of our retail assets to continue to secure blue-chip tenants.’
Construction is anticipated to commence in early 2019, subject to obtaining all necessary approvals.
