With extensive input from our team this year at SEMZ, we’ve broadened our reach with our community partners, fostering relationships with truly worthy charitable organisations to give back to our community in a meaningful way.
With fulfilment a key value of our operation, we’re incredibly proud of the SEMZ team over recent weeks. Our commitment and combined efforts have provided tangible support to those in need.
CONGRATULATIONS to the SEMZ team members who took part in the Melbourne Marathon over the weekend where we were the number 1 fundraiser for Very Special Kids AND the number 11 fundraiser for the whole Melbourne Marathon!
VSK hoped to raise $50k, and with our help they smashed their target and raised almost $69k to help facilitate the delivery of their new paediatric hospice AND they were the third highest charity on the Melbourne Marathon fundraising list.

In addition to the Melbourne Marathon, Human Rights Week wrapped up yesterday and our Community Partner Human Rights Law Centre ran a successful funds matching appeal whereby all funds donated were matched dollar for dollar (up to $130,000) by their corporate partners with the achievement of their aim to raise $260,000 to support human rights action.
SEMZ is proud to support the amazing work undertaken by Hugh de Kretser and the HRLC. We sincerely thank all their other appeal Corporate Partners joining us in matching donated funds, and all those who donated and had their contributions matched during the appeal week.
While there is much involved in living SEMZ’s Fulfilment value, it’s hard to surpass ending the year with our significant physical, mental and financial efforts so tangibly making a positive impact upon the community in which we live.
