As Project Manager and Superintendent on the new build Primary School project, we’re very pleased to report that Construction is progressing well with the project on track to open to students on day one, term one 2024.
Part of the Victorian Government’s commitment to open 100 new schools between 2019 and 2026, the new build Primary School will cater for up to 350 students from Prep to grade 6 for the Officer region located 48km south-east of Melbourne’s Central Business District.
Designed by Tectura Architects and built by SJ Higgins, the school will feature extensive facilities including;
- Admin and Library buildings
- Three learning communities
- A STEM building
- Gymnasium with competition grade basketball court
- Two external hard courts
- Playgrounds
- A playing field to accommodate two soccer fields within.
It’s an exciting opportunity for the SEMZ team to be a part of bringing new education opportunity to the Officer region, helping young people and the wider community to learn and thrive for current and future generations.
