With Stage One of Chisholm Institute’s Frankston Learning and Innovation Precinct now complete, The Hon. Daniel Andrews – Premier of Victoria and The Hon. Gayle Tierney – Minister for Higher Education presided over the official opening of the precinct at this morning’s ceremony.
As Project Director, Project Manager and Superintendent for this project, it was fantastic for the SEMZ team to celebrate the project’s successful completion at this morning’s ceremony.
The new $85 million Frankston Learning and Innovation Precinct is an investment in the future of the Chisholm community, Frankston and Melbourne’s south east region.
The Precinct is the result of a three-year project to create digitally transformed classrooms and study spaces, supported by the most advanced design in training and skills facilities. The fully equipped state-of-the-art health wards, workshops, laboratories and collaboration spaces will encourage new ways of learning, teaching and thinking, new connections, and new ways to immerse students in their future journey.
The new Library and Learning Centre is a dynamic, open-plan student research and meeting space with access to research support, digital libraries and access to online study coaching.
For the SEMZ team, it’s an exciting time to be involved with Education and improving Victoria’s Educational facilities. We look forward to the launch of Stage two at Chisholm Frankston over coming months.
